Starting

 

The methods used when starting the young horse involves establishing a relationship based upon trust and leadership.

 

By using non violent methods of training and allowing the horse to learn at their own individual pace, each young horse develops into a willing and responsive ride.

 

Each starter is considered on an individual basis with the training time varying in accordance with the individual's ability to learn and the level of education the owner wishes to achieve.

 

Owners are kept informed about their horse's progress and are actively encouraged to participate, where appropriate, during the training sessions.

 

Prices start from £100.00 per week

 

Schooling

 

•  Does your horse stand still for mounting?

•  Do you have a nappy horse?

•  Is he lazy and lacking energy when ridden?

•  Do you lack confidence when riding?

 

 

 If the answer is yes these are some of the issues that have been resolved by us using non-confrontational training methods.

 

If you have a specific ridden problem with your horse or just require some general schooling this can be incorporated into a tailored training programme for you and your horse.

 

Training plans look to address both horse and owner issues with the owner being given both the confidence and skills necessary to continue to progress when back at home. Post training support is always available.
